Alberta Jewkes, RN
Administrator, West Virginia Division
Alberta began her career in Home health in 1999 and has served in multiple roles including RN Case Manager, OASIS nurse and patient care supervisor. She provides administrative oversight and leadership for Memorial’s West Virginia Home Health Division. Alberta has 17 years of home health experience in addition to a background in long-term care setting as charge nurse and Night Supervisor.
Alberta is accountable for the operation of all West Virginia Home Health agency programs and assumes the responsibility for meeting the department’s mission through personnel management; including selection of staff, monitoring of performance and evaluation and the acceptance of patients for care. In addition, Alberta is responsible for maintaining intercommunications, clinical management, resource management, and business development. She organizes and directs the department’s ongoing functions in compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
Alberta graduated from Southern West Virginia and Technical College. She is actively involved with the West Virginia State Home Health Association and the Home Health Quality Improvement (HHQI) National Campaign which is dedicated to improving the quality of care provided to America’s home health patients. She is also a make-a-wish volunteer.
